Your Low Cost Divorce is a full service family law office with almost two decades of experience in family law. We offer low cost flat rates for all uncontested (agreed) divorces in Dallas, Denton, and Collin, Tarrant, Hunt, Rockwall, and Ellis counties in North Texas. We provide Pro-Se document service for clients in every county in the state of Texas.
In order to qualify for our Low Cost services, both parties must be in complete agreement on all aspects of their divorce including, division of community property and assets, child custody, visitation and child support. In addition, You or your spouse must have been a resident of the State of Texas for a period of at least six months and a resident of the county in which you seek to file suit for divorce for a period of a minimum of ninety consecutive days immediately prior to filing the Petition.
Your Low Cost Divorce offers Pro-Se document services for $99 for parties with no children and $149 for parties with children. If you prefer to have our attorney handle your divorce from start to finish, the cost is $790 for parties with no children and $1090 for parties with children. Please be advised that if matters arise during your divorce process which require our office to spend more time on your case than is defined in our program rules, additional charges may apply. Yes, if you need to make payments on the cost of your divorce, YLCD offers a payment plan for Attorney involved matters only. Our office requires a down payment of $500 and the remainder to be paid prior to the 60 day divorce period. Your divorce will not be finalized until your matter is paid in full. Your Low Cost Divorce accepts cash, money order, personal checks, and credit card/debit cards. Please be advised that if you make payment with a personal check, no service will be started on your matter until the check has cleared our bank. If you made arrangements with our office under our service payment plan, please be advised that your divorce matter will not be finalized until your account is paid in full. Our payment plan only applies to attorney involved Texas agreed divorces and Pro-Se divorces must be paid in full prior to writing your documents. We do not offer a payment plan for Pro-Se service because the turn-around time for Pro-Se service or generally 3-7 business days and the cost of our Pro-Se service and turn-around time are so low that payment are not feasible.
Refunds will be made at the discretion of Your Low Cost Divorce.com. If you have made a payment for our service and for any reason decided not to utilize our low cost service, all money you have paid our office will be refunded in full if no work or court fees have been expended in your legal matter. If any work or fees have been expended in your legal matter, the amount refunded will be prorated in accordance to the amount of work and fees our office has expended in your case. Your Low Cost Divorce accepts cash, money order, personal checks, and credit card/debit cards. Please be advised that if you make payment with a personal check, no service will be started on your matter until the check has cleared our bank.
